2012 Brucher Pinot Noir
$24.00 – $288.00
Great for sipping alone or serving with pork, poultry, fish or pasta dishes with white, creamy sauces.
APPELLATION: San Luis Obispo County
COLOR: Bright garnet
NOSE: Lovely red fruit mixture and light French oak
TASTE: Red currants and red raspberries create an earthy mouth feel that leads to a long, lingering finish. This is an enticing, sensuous wine, that was handcrafted in the Burgundian style.
Made in the French, or Burgundian style, our Pinot Noir is light, romantic, and artistically created. It is lower in alcohol than the bolder, California-style Pinots. A true French-style Pinot such as ours, should be clear enough to see through and enticingly aromatic with an exceedingly long finish. Our Pinot Noir is often described as having a red wine palate profile and a white wine style, making it popular with both red and white wine enthusiasts. To be sure, it tends to be lighter bodied than many of its red counterparts, and it enjoys a more subtle tannin structure due to the thinner skin of the Pinot Noir grape itself.
